Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke so many records while traveling

Delhi : Rajasthan Royals’ journey may have ended in the second qualifier of IPL 2026, but young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again won everyone’s hearts with his performance. In a big match full of pressure, Vaibhav played an important role in taking the team to a strong score by playing a brilliant inning of 96 runs. However, he once again missed a century after coming very close to it. Even before this, he had missed out on a century by scoring 97 runs in the eliminator match. Even in the league stage, he missed reaching the three-figure mark in one match, making it the third consecutive time when he failed to score a century after reaching ninety.

With this achievement, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the second batsman to miss a century after reaching ninety three times in a single season of IPL. Earlier in the year 2014, the same thing had happened with Glenn Maxwell. However, despite Rajasthan’s defeat, Vaibhav set many such records throughout the season, which made him the new star of the competition. He held the record of completing 1000 IPL runs in the fewest number of balls and achieved this feat in just 440 balls. Earlier, Andre Russell had to face 545 balls to achieve this feat.

Not only this, Vaibhav also made the record of hitting the most number of sixes in the last phase of this season. He made another big record by scoring the most runs in the initial overs, where his aggressive batting kept the bowlers under constant pressure. In the entire season, he showed his talent brilliantly by scoring 776 runs in 16 matches. At the age of just 15, performing like this against the biggest bowlers of the world is considered a big achievement in itself. Rajasthan Royals’ dream of winning the title may have remained unfulfilled, but it is certain that IPL 2026 will be remembered for a long time for the brilliant performance of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
