Afternoon turns into night, city surrounded by dust storm like a Hollywood movie, scary video from Rajasthan

Churu Sandstorm Video: A scene emerged from Churu district of Rajasthan on Saturday afternoon which left everyone astonished. A strong dust storm and a giant tornado that arose from the sky engulfed the entire city in no time and at 2 in the afternoon the atmosphere became night-like. Due to this sudden sandstorm, visibility reduced to zero. The speed of vehicles moving on the roads stopped at various places. The conditions of the city were so terrible that it was not possible to see beyond a few meters. Due to the sandstorm, drivers had to travel on the middle of the road with their headlights on.

There was chaos in the markets, electricity stopped

Due to this sudden storm, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the main markets and residential areas of Sardarshahar Churu. People were seen running towards safe places and shops to escape the gusts of strong winds and flying dust. There are also reports of uprooting of trees and falling of electric poles in many parts of the city due to this fierce storm, due to which power supply has come to a complete standstill in many areas.

However, this fierce form of nature is not limited to Churu only, rather the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued such a big alert for the entire Rajasthan.

Winds blew at a speed of 70 KM

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather has taken this turn due to the effect of a new western disturbance active in the state. The Meteorological Department said that apart from Churu (Bikaner division), there is a strong possibility of strong dust storm with a speed of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour and light to moderate rain in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, Jodhpur and Udaipur divisions.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted lightning and hailstorm in some areas. Let us tell you that in the last 24 hours, heavy rains have been recorded in many parts of the state, in which Bari of Dholpur received the maximum rainfall of 58 mm.
