Many new features related to security and privacy have been added to this new app launched by the government. Its biggest feature is that you can access your Aadhaar information even without the internet, just like you use a physical Aadhaar card. Apart from this, you can share only the necessary information as per your need and keep the rest of the personal details hidden. This keeps your personal information safe and the possibility of its misuse is greatly reduced.

How to log in to the new Aadhaar app?

First of all, install the new Aadhaar app from Play Store or App Store of your smartphone.
After opening the app, allow necessary permissions related to camera, SMS and calls.
Now tap on ‘Begin Journey’ and then select ‘Continue to Register’ option.
After this enter your Aadhaar number and confirm it again.
After reading the terms and conditions carefully, click on the Continue button.
Your mobile number will be confirmed through SMS.
The next step will be face authentication, in which you will have to verify your identity by showing your face in front of the camera.
After completion of the process, create a 6 digit security PIN, with the help of which further login into the app can be done easily.
