had to wait on the roadside

After the bus broke down, Gujarat Titans players and staff had to wait on the roadside for some time. Later the team management arranged for another bus, through which everyone was safely taken to the hotel. This incident proved to be even more stressful for the players as the team was already suffering the pain of losing the final.

Problems increased due to continuous travel

The last few days have been very busy and tiring for Gujarat Titans. The team had reached Mullanpur from Dharamshala, where it had to play the qualifier match. After this, there was a delay in reaching Ahmedabad due to bad weather. Due to the constant traveling and busy schedule, a discussion started whether the fatigue of the players had an impact on the final performance.

Gujarat’s bat did not play in the final

The performance of Gujarat Titans in the final of IPL 2026 was not as expected. Batting first, the team could score only 155 runs for 8 wickets. In reply, RCB batted brilliantly and easily achieved the target and won the trophy for the second consecutive time.

Gujarat’s bowlers definitely tried to make a comeback in the match, but Virat Kohli’s brilliant innings ended the team’s hopes. However, Gujarat Titans Cricket Director Vikram Solanki refused to blame the busy schedule for the defeat. He said that the team is not making excuses and RCB played better cricket.
