Attempt to break TMC! Mamta said- MLAs are being intimidated and threatened
Tezzbuzz Desk – After the defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections, the political turmoil within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) seems to be intensifying. In her address, Mamata Banerjee claimed that pressure is being put on her party’s MLAs and leaders. He alleged that attempts are being made to politically influence many public representatives by making them fear various agencies. Mamta said that many MLAs have personally contacted her and given such complaints.
The Trinamool chief said in clear words that the party cannot be weakened by threatening some people or creating political pressure. He claimed that Trinamool Congress is standing stronger than before and will continue its political fight in future also.
During this, Mamata Banerjee also raised questions on the electoral process and reiterated her objections regarding counting and recounting of votes in some constituencies. She said that her party has serious questions regarding the results on many seats and will continue to raise these issues.
He also alleged alleged action against party workers, damage to offices and obstruction of political activities. Mamta said that in a democratic system there should be no attempt to suppress the voice of the opposition.
In his address, he also mentioned students and youth and appealed for active participation on social and democratic issues. Mamta said that the role of youth is important in strengthening democracy and they should raise their voice against injustice.
At the same time, referring to a recent incident of political violence, he expressed concern about the safety of party leaders. He said that there should be no place for violence in democracy and all political parties should work towards maintaining a peaceful environment.
