The Giallorossi are going into the next campaign full of enthusiasm after finally qualifying for the Champions League, ending a seven-year absence.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is also given more control over the transfer strategy and preparations for the campaign.

This includes an attempt to get away from the often stifling heat of summer in the Eternal City, but also rejecting the usual money-spinning friendly matches in distant lands.

Instead, the Lupi are set to have the second part of their pre-season training camp in Wales towards the end of July and start of August.

Tuttomercatoweb claim their base will be the camp where the Wales rugby team usually does its preparations in Hensol, just outside Cardiff.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they will be hosting Roma at the Signal Iduna Park for a friendly match on August 15.
