India’s ‘Divyastra Mk-1’ ready, increased tension of enemy countries
News Desk. India’s defense technology has got another major success. Indigenously developed Tactical Loitering Munition Platform Divyastra Mk-1 was successfully test fired in Jodhpur. This test is being considered an important step towards India’s increasing technological capability and self-reliance in the defense sector.
Successful test done with mobile launcher
During testing the Divyastra Mk-1 was successfully launched several times from a vehicle based mobile launcher. During this, senior officers of the Indian Army were also present, who saw the efficiency and performance of the entire operation. This test proved that this system is not limited to the laboratory only, but can also be rapidly deployed in real combat situations.
What is Divyastra Mk-1?
Divyastra Mk-1 is an advanced indigenous Unmanned Aerial System (UAV), designed for intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance missions and precision strikes. This platform is capable of working according to the rapidly changing situation in the war zone and provides important information at the ground level.

Continuous flight for about 5 hours
speed of 300-400 kilometers per hour
Approximately 15 kg payload capacity
Due to these features it is being considered effective even in long distance missions.

Divyastra Mk-1 has been integrated with modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Swarm System. This gives it the ability to perform a variety of missions simultaneously or in coordination. This system can prove useful in tasks like target identification, surveillance, attack and decoy missions.
