New Delhi: After YRF’s spy universe’s recent film ‘Dhurandhar’, now the release date of the next film ‘Alpha’ is nearing. An important information has come to light regarding this film.
Alia Bhatt’s new character
Alia Bhatt will be in the lead role in this film, but this time she will not be seen as an ordinary detective but as a skilled killer. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Alia’s character is not a member of any intelligence agency.
The film will depict his past and his journey to becoming a ruthless killer. According to sources, ‘Alpha’ will present a new story away from the traditional formula of the spy universe, in which a girl has been trained since childhood to become a ‘killing machine’.
There is no connection between India and Pakistan
The makers have decided not to include any aspect of India-Pakistan relations in the story this time. This theme was prominent in YRF’s previous films like ‘Pathan’, ‘Tiger 3’, and ‘War’. But after the criticism of ‘Dhurandhar’, it seems that ‘Alpha’ will have no such connection.
India’s only strength
With this change, the film will not be a story of cooperation or agreement between the two countries. According to sources, ‘Alpha’ will show how India deals with its enemies without any mercy and with precision. There will be no diplomatic overtures or cross-border partnerships in the film. Sharvari will also be playing an important role along with Alia Bhatt.
Cameo possibility
The cast of the film is also impressive. Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor have been cast for the main villain and other important characters. There is talk that big stars of the spy universe, Hrithik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan can also make a cameo, but there is no official confirmation on this.
Change in release date
It is worth noting that the release date of ‘Alpha’ has been changed several times. It was initially planned for release in 2025, then scheduled for April 2026 and July 10, 2026. According to the latest information, now this film will be released in theaters on July 3, 2026. However, an official announcement from YRF is yet to be made.
