It is believed that differences have emerged between Annamalai and the Central Government regarding the three language policy. Annamalai has also raised the demand to withdraw the three-language policy made mandatory in Class 9 by CBSE. Recently he also raised this issue in one of his social media posts. Annamalai had written that due to the three language policy, the students of Tamil Nadu and their parents are under unnecessary mental stress. It is also being said that Annamalai’s supporters are also in favor of forming a separate party.

There is also news that Annamalai has sought time to meet BJP National President Nitin Nabin. Let us tell you that earlier also during the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, there were reports of Annamalai’s differences with BJP when BJP did not give him ticket in the elections. However, later Annamalai himself issued a statement saying that he did not want to contest the elections and hence he had already informed the BJP Core Committee by writing a letter. The party leadership respected my decision and I am grateful for it.
