Annapurna Yojana: Update bank details before the money arrives, otherwise you will not get Rs 3000; Know the whole process
Annapurna Yojana:West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari had last week announced that the first phase of fund transfer under ‘Annapurna Yojana’ will start from June 3 in which eligible women beneficiaries will get ₹3,000 directly in their bank accounts. Since the beneficiaries of Lakshmir Bhandar are expected to be automatically shifted to the proposed Annapurna Bhandar Scheme, many beneficiaries may need to update their bank account details due to issues like inactive account, incorrect information, DBT failure or change of bank. It is also important to keep your Aadhaar linked bank account active and updated to get the payment easily. Here is how to update the bank account details before the money is credited.
Check whether your account is linked to Aadhaar or not
Before updating your bank account details, first check which bank account is currently linked to your Aadhaar to receive DBT payments. If the linked account is incorrect or no longer in use, it is important to update it and link it to Aadhaar.

- Click on the ‘Customer’ section and then select the ‘Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)’ option.
- Click on ‘Aadhaar Mapped Status’ option.
- Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code and click on ‘Check Status’.
- Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhar card.
- Your Aadhaar linked bank account, bank name and DBT status will appear on the screen.
