Now recently, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has praised the acting skills of actor Ranbir Kapoor.

In a recent interview given to Filmibeat, he said that the role of Lord Ram in the upcoming film Ramayana can prove to be very beneficial for Ranbir on both personal and professional level.

Imtiaz Ali said, “As an actor Ranbir can do anything. He should do different roles, and when he does different roles, he will become. He is a pure actor, and I hope he does all types of roles. I am very happy that he is playing the role of Lord Ram because he can bring a certain impact or reality to the character. It would be good to present the character of Lord Ram in a human and personal manner.”

There was mixed reaction from the audience on the teaser.
Recently, the teaser of the film Ramayana was released, in which the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram was shown. The audience’s reactions to the teaser were mixed. Many praised her looks and screen presence, while some viewers believed that she was not a suitable choice for the role.

Ranbir will also be seen in the role of Parashuram along with Lord Ram.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing not only Lord Ram but also Lord Parashuram in the film. Talking about this, Ranbir said that among the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu, both Ram and Parashuram have special significance. He told that getting the opportunity to play both the characters is no less than an honor for him.

Ramayana is included in the biggest films of Indian cinema.
Director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is considered to be one of the most ambitious projects of Indian cinema. The film is being produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra. In this, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita, Yash Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Laxman.

The film will be released in two parts. The first part will hit the theaters on Diwali 2026, while the second part will release in Diwali 2027.
