There will be a scene of devastation in 17 states including Delhi-UP
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today i.e. on June 2, an alert of storm and rain has been issued for about 17 states of North India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. It has been warned that during this period the wind speed can reach 80 kilometers per hour. In the eastern states, the storm can be so severe that large trees and electric poles can be uprooted. Along with this, there is also a possibility of heavy hailstorm in some states, which can cause huge damage.

According to the Meteorological Department report, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Rajasthan will see heavy rains and thunderstorms along with dust storms. Apart from this, a new system has also become active in Eastern India. A cyclonic circulation is forming over South Ganga Basin, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha, due to which the weather will be extremely bad in these states. In some areas, wind speed can even be recorded up to 90 kilometers per hour. Along with this, heavy rains along with stormy winds can also be seen in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Arunachal Pradesh.
Meteorological Department’s ‘high alert’ in 13 districts of Bihar
Today is going to be a heavy day for the people of Bihar also. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain and storm in 13 districts of the state. Apart from the capital Patna, this includes Rohtas, Gaya, Nawada, Arwal, Jamui, Lakhisarai, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Katihar, Buxar and Bhojpur. In these areas, destructive winds can blow at a speed of 65 to 70 kilometers per hour, hence people have been advised to stay in their homes.
Disaster will rain from the sky in 19 districts of Uttar Pradesh
The weather pattern is going to deteriorate completely in UP also. The maximum impact of storm and water will be seen in 19 districts of the state. According to IMD, there is every possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorm in Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Saharanpur, Bahraich, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Agra, Meerut, Mathura, Kanpur, Hamirpur, Ayodhya, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Lalitpur. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be extremely cautious during this period and not to come out of their homes without any reason.
