Dhurandhar Changed the Course of the Actor’s Life

Actor-comedian Gaurav Gera is currently receiving immense love post the massive success of his films ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ (Dhurandhar 2). But it has certainly not been an easy journey to where he is today. Recently, while conversing about his life choices, challenges, struggles, financial hardship and the morals that have helped him stay grounded, Gaurav opens up about his journey.

Talking about the initial phase, Gaurav revealed that nobody in his family had any ties to the film industry. “Nobody in my family was in films,” he said. Further, explaining his passion, he said he was inclined towards performing arts since school when he used to participate in annual function and fancy dress competitions.

The Actor Had Only 84 Rupees Left In His Account

“I had 84 rupees in my account. I would pass by HDFC Bank and just look at the bank and tell it, ‘Take care of me’. I would bow down to the bank as and when I would leave and come back,” Gaurav Gera said with a laugh. The actor shared that though his father did help him out, the situation was not that affluent and money was quite short.
