Lottery of villagers of Bihar! With this decision of the government, banks and post offices will now open in villages only.

Patna. A very good news is coming for the villagers of Bihar. Bihar government has taken a very revolutionary step to make basic services more easy and accessible in rural areas. Now the village people will not have to run to the city for their minor needs and government work. All the ‘Panchayat Government Buildings’ of the state are now being made hi-tech and developed as ‘Multipurpose Service Centres’. This simply means that now the village people will get all the major government facilities under one roof.

The main objective of this excellent scheme is to reduce the difficulties of the villagers. It is often seen that village people have to visit block or district headquarters for small government works, due to which both their time and money are wasted. But now after the new system, villagers will not have to step out of their village for post office, banking, government documents and other important works. This will not only save their precious time, but will also reduce the financial burden on their pockets.

Panchayat government buildings are being built hi-tech, everything will be available at one place

The construction work of these ‘Panchayat Government Buildings’ is going on a war footing in many Panchayats of different districts of Bihar. In many areas, these magnificent buildings have been completely completed and work has also started there. Whereas, at the places where work is pending, the construction work is in its final stages. According to the new plan of the government, many important services are being started inside the premises of these Panchayat buildings. Now villagers will get facilities like post office service, banking counter, library for studies, RTPS service centre, essential government works and even Sudha whole-day milk parlor in one complex.

Now the post office will open in the Panchayat building of your village.

The Postal Department has also geared up to implement this entire plan. Showing keen interest in this government scheme, the Postal Department has accelerated the process of opening its new offices (post offices) in Panchayat Government buildings. For this, the Postal Department has sought from the Panchayati Raj Department a complete list of all those buildings where post office operations can be started immediately. Following this demand, instructions have been issued to all the District Magistrates and concerned officers of the state to submit the list of fully completed Panchayat buildings of their respective areas to the government as soon as possible.

Along with the facility, Panchayats will also earn big money.

The most special thing about this unique scheme of Bihar government is that not only the general public will benefit from it, but the local gram panchayats are also going to be financially successful. Whatever post offices will be opened in Panchayat government buildings, rent will be paid every month to the concerned Gram Panchayat. The Postal Department will pay a rent of Rs 500 every month to the Gram Panchayat for each post office. This rent amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the Panchayat, which can be used for the development works of the village itself.
