Report Dumfries to Real Madrid is a done deal for €20m: Full agreement
It had already been reported by multiple sources that the Dutchman had given the priority to Real Madrid rather than Liverpool or any other potential interested clubs.
Dumfries only wanted Real Madrid
Negotiations are unnecessary, seeing as there is a release clause in the contract, so the only discussions were over personal terms.
According to Fabrizio Romano that part is already done, with a full agreement reached this evening between Real Madrid and his entourage.

There was some confusion over how much the Merengues would pay, as the release clause was widely reported to be worth €25m.
That is partly true, as it was already noted last year by Sportitalia that it begins at €20m when becoming active on July 1, then rises incrementally every five days until reaching a peak of €30m on the final day of July 15.
Because Real Madrid are getting in there early, it will cost only €20m to get Dumfries.
This is still a profit, as Inter paid €14.75m to buy the right-back from PSV Eindhoven in 2021.
Real Madrid can therefore announce the deal as soon as next week, after Sunday’s Presidential elections.
Inter can then begin reinvesting in his replacement, with Marco Palestra of Atalanta their first choice at €50m.
