Firing incidents are not stopping in US, 6 people died due to firing in Muscatine city of Iowa state.

Washington. America’s Iowa State was shaken by the sound of gunshots on Monday (local time). At least 7 people have died in firing incidents at several places in a city here. According to the information, the suspected accused first shot dead 6 people and then committed suicide by shooting himself in front of the police. Police have said that from the initial investigation this case seems to be a family dispute.

According to the report, this heart-wrenching incident happened in Muscatine City, Iowa. Here the attacker entered two houses and a shop and started firing indiscriminately. Muscatine Police Chief Anthony Keyes said police received a report of the shooting around 12 p.m. However, by the time the police reached there, people had died. Bodies of four people were recovered from the spot.




  • The accused had already fled from the spot before the police arrived. The suspect has been identified as 52-year-old Ryan Willis McFarland, according to police. The police started a search operation and found him. However, just as the officers were about to arrest him, he shot himself. “A team of officers and doctors tried to save him, but he died on the spot,” Police Chief Keyes said.

    During the investigation, the police received information about firing at some other places also. After this, bodies of two more people were recovered from another house and a nearby shop. Everyone died due to bullet injury. “The preliminary investigation indicates this shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. All victims are believed to be family members of the accused,” Muscatine police said in a press release.
