Harmanpreet Kaur’s fifty went in vain, India suffered a crushing defeat in the third T20 match, England won the series 2-1

INDW VS ENGW: Harmanpreet Kaur and Company had to face defeat by 6 wickets in the third match of the 3-match T-20 series being played between the Indian women’s cricket team and the England women’s cricket team. Team India, who came to bat first in the match, had set a target of 181 runs, but the England team, which came to chase this target, achieved it in just 18.3 overs and won by 6 wickets. For England, Alice Capsey played a match-winning inning of 82 runs and was fully supported by Heather Knight, who scored 70 runs. With this, England has now won this series by 2-1.

Indian women’s team had given the target of 181 runs

Indian women’s cricket team, who came to bat first in the third T-20 match played in Tondon, scored 180 runs on the board after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana was out after scoring 8 runs and Shefali Verma was out after scoring 11 runs, due to which Team India could not get a good start.

But then Yastika Bhatia scored 32 runs in 18 balls and Jemimah Rodrigues scored 29 runs in 19 balls. At the same time, captain Harmanpreet Kaur played the biggest innings for the team and she returned unbeaten after scoring 56 runs on 40 balls. Apart from this, Deepti Sharma also scored 32 runs on 24 balls. Richa Ghosh returned unbeaten with the captain after scoring 6 runs on 4 balls and thus India set the target of 181 runs for England.

England won the third T20 match by 6 wickets

The England cricket team, which came to chase the target of 181 runs given by the Indian women’s team, did not get a good start. Opener Sophie Dunkley was out after scoring 16 runs in 13 balls and Denny Wyatt Hodge was out after scoring 5 runs in 5 balls. Then Amy Jones also lost her wicket for just 3 runs. But then there was a partnership of 137 runs between Alice Capsey and Heather Knight for the fourth wicket, which snatched the match from India.

Ellis was out after scoring 82 runs on 43 balls, in which he also hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. Whereas Heather returned only after scoring 70 runs on 42 balls and leading her team to victory. Along with him, Freya Kemp also returned unbeaten on 2 runs. In this way, the England team successfully achieved the target in 18.3 overs with 9 balls remaining and won the match by 6 wickets.

England won the series 2-1

A 3-match T-20 series was played between the Indian women’s cricket team and the England cricket team. The first match of this series was won by the Indian women’s team by 38 runs. But then England won the second match by 26 runs and won the third T20 match by 6 wickets. Let us tell you, now a test match will be played between the two teams in London.
