According to the first official social media teaser released by the company, the biggest changes in the new Citroen eC3 This new model will have an updated front bumper with silver inserts, new LED headlights, LED DRLs and integrated ORVMs with turn indicators. Along with this, brand new dual-tone alloy wheels have been used to make the side profile of the car attractive.
Considering the customer response to the simple cabin of the old eC3 at the time of launch, Citroen has given the interior a completely premium look this time. In the new version, customers will get an all-new leatherette dashboard and seats with leather apron, which will come with adjustable headrests.
Long list of features and full emphasis on security
The new electric hatchback will continue to feature modern technology including a 10.25-inch central floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Making a major upgrade on the safety front, the company is now going to provide standard features like 6 airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) in this vehicle.

However, going by market sources and the recent trend of shift from petrol-powered C3 to C3 It is estimated that the starting price of its new base variant can be kept below Rs 12 lakh, so that it can give direct competition to entry-level electric cars like Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV. This new electric car is expected to hit Indian roads by the end of June 2026.
