On the other hand, an official statement from the US Central Command said that Iran fired several ballistic missiles on behalf of its regional neighbors. However, all failed to hit their intended targets.
The US command further said that the two missiles fired at Kuwait either missed their targets or broke up en route. The three missiles fired at Bahrain were immediately stopped by the US and Bahraini Air Defense Forces. It is a matter of relief that no one has been injured in this.
US Military Command says that radar, drone control sites and air defense systems located in Iran’s Qeshm Island and Goruk Region were targeted. The US says that these attacks were carried out in self-defense because Iran had already shot down an American drone and posed a threat to regional shipping.
On the other hand, Iranian media has condemned these attacks and called it an aggressive action.
