CM Vijay Allocates Rajya Sabha Seat Congress: Tamil Nadu’s ruling party TVK has given the lone seat from the state to ally Congress for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on June 18. Announcing this, TVK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay said that the only seat in Tamil Nadu has been allotted to the alliance partner Congress. Decision taken after meeting with P. Chidambaram

TVK’s announcement comes a day after senior Congress leader and former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram met Vijay in Chennai.
