Mumbai Goa Highway | There is very important news for passengers traveling on Mumbai-Goa highway. In fact, since it is weekend, many people are traveling towards Konkan. Obviously, the rush of cars going to Konkan can be seen on the Mumbai Goa highway. But for the passengers traveling on the Mumbai Goa highway, 5 and 6 June have to be kept in mind. Special traffic rules will be enforced in Raigad district on June 5 and 6. Therefore, some vehicles will be completely banned on this highway.
A large number of Shiva lovers are likely to be present at Raigad Fort on the occasion of this year’s Shiva Rajabhishek ceremony. Raigad district administration has prepared a special traffic plan. Accordingly, a temporary ban on the movement of heavy and bulky vehicles will be in force on the Mumbai-Goa National Highway from Wakanphata-Nagothane to Kashedi Ghat from 4 pm on June 5 to 10 pm on June 6. While planning the journey during this period, drivers need to know the new rules. These important decisions have been taken to ensure that the coronation ceremony of Shivraj at Raigad goes smoothly and that there is no traffic jam in the area.
What are the alternative ways –
All types of heavy vehicles will not be allowed on Mangaon-Nizampur-Pachad-Raigad Fort, Mangaon-Dhalghar Phata-Pachad-Raigad Fort and Mahad-Natekhind-Pachad-Raigad Fort routes. However, ambulances, fire brigade and other essential service vehicles are exempted from these rules.
Meanwhile, security measures have also been tightened in Raigad fort area in the background of Shiv Rajyabhishek ceremony. The use of appliances like gas cylinders, stoves and hearths has been banned for two days, June 5 and 6. District Magistrate Omase of Mahad has issued instructions in this regard. The decision has been taken to avoid mishaps like spillage of hot oil or exploding gas cylinders as a large number of food stalls are set up during the festival.
