Indian ambassador meets Indians injured in Kuwait airport attack, assures all possible help

Kuwait City. India’s Ambassador to Kuwait Paramita Tripathi on Wednesday met Indian nationals who were injured in the attack at Kuwait International Airport. He assured all possible assistance from the Embassy to the injured Indians. The Ambassador also visited Kuwait’s Central Mortuary, where the mortal remains of the Indian citizen who lost his life in the attack are kept.

The Indian Embassy shared information about this visit on the social media platform ‘X’. The ambassador also met Brigadier Abdul Rahim Al-Awadhi, general manager of the Criminal Evidence Department, the embassy said. He expressed his gratitude to the Kuwait administration for its immediate help and sensitivity in this tragic case.




  • The Embassy informed that they are in constant touch with the family of the deceased Indian citizen. Coordination is being done with Kuwaiti authorities to send the body to India as soon as possible. The Ambassador inquired about the well being of the injured Indians admitted in different hospitals of Kuwait. He spoke to the injured and assured that the Embassy would continue to monitor the situation in close coordination with hospitals and their families.

    Earlier, the Government of India strongly condemned this drone attack on Kuwait International Airport. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement expressing condolences to the family of the deceased. The ministry said civilians and civilian infrastructure should not be targeted amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. India has once again appealed to all parties to stop such attacks.
