Tezzbuzz Desk – Former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi has made a big revelation regarding his proposed biopic. He has told that preparations for a film based on his life are going on and currently this project is in the scripting stage. Meanwhile, he has also made an interesting claim about Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, which has sparked a new discussion in the film circles.
During an interview, Lalit Modi told that his team is busy making various aspects related to his life a part of the story. He said that more than 100 of his interviews have been recorded so far for the biopic and an experienced team is working on the entire project. According to him, the work of finalizing the story is still going on and a lot of preparation is left for the film.
Lalit Modi gave a shocking statement on the question of who will play his character in the biopic. He claimed that a few years ago Ranveer Singh himself had come to London to meet him and had expressed his desire to play the role of Lalit Modi. According to Lalit Modi, this meeting took place at his London home, where there was a long conversation between the two on this subject.
He told that Ranveer Singh had told him that if he gets a chance to play the role of any one person in his life, he would like to play the role of Lalit Modi. Lalit Modi said that this initiative was not from his side, rather Ranveer himself was showing interest in this project.
The former IPL chief also praised Ranveer Singh. He said that Ranveer is a great actor and plays his roles with complete sincerity. Lalit Modi also praised his recent projects and said that he is a strong actor and can portray any challenging character effectively on screen.
However, he also clarified that he does not know whether Ranveer Singh is currently interested in the project or not. He said that circumstances change with time and work on the script of the film is still going on. In such a situation, the final decision regarding casting will be taken in future only.
Currently, Lalit Modi’s biopic is in its initial stages, but his revelation has increased the curiosity about the film. If this project goes ahead and Ranveer Singh is seen in it, then it could become one of the most talked about biopic films of Bollywood.
