Pakistan court’s strict stance, those guilty of gang rape of woman will get death penalty

New Delhi . The judicial process has taken an important turn in the much talked about Lahore Motorway Gangrape Case of Pakistan. The Lahore High Court has rejected the appeal of two convicts, upholding the death sentence of this heinous incident that took place in the year 2020. This decision of the court is being seen as a tough stance on serious crimes against women in Pakistan’s justice system. This matter had remained a topic of discussion at the national and international level for years.

This incident came to light in September 2020 when a woman was traveling by road with her children. The family got stuck in a deserted area due to a technical problem with the vehicle during the journey. During this time, criminals took advantage of the opportunity and committed a serious crime.
