Rajya Sabha Elections 2026: BJP finalized names for 11 seats in 6 states, made Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Aggarwal candidates from Madhya Pradesh.

New Delhi. The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given its approval to the following names for the biennial elections of Rajya Sabha to be held in various states and the by-election of 2026 in Odisha. BJP has announced the names of candidates for Rajya Sabha elections 2026. BJP has finalized the names of two candidates in Madhya Pradesh Rajya Sabha elections, Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Aggarwal have been made candidates.

Tai Tagak from Arunachal Pradesh, Rajubhai Shukla, Mukeshbhai Rathwa, Mansingh Parmar, Jitendra Meghjibhai Kanjariya from Madhya Pradesh, Tarun Chugh, Rajneesh Aggarwal from Madhya Pradesh, A Sharda Devi from Manipur, Dr Alka Gurjar, Dr Satish Punia from Rajasthan, while Debashish Samantrai has been fielded in the by-election for a seat in Odisha Rajya Sabha. BJP has announced candidates for 11 seats in 6 states.

With the announcement of the names of two candidates in Madhya Pradesh, it has been decided that BJP does not want to field its candidate for the third seat. All the speculations that BJP could make the election contest interesting by fielding a candidate on the third seat have been rejected.
