UP News: Teachers will be transferred from one district to another in Basic Education Department, order issued

Lucknow. UP Yogi Government has decided to do inter-district transfer of teachers in schools under Basic Education Council. An order has been issued in this regard. However, in view of the census work, there will be a lot of restrictions on transfers. In the order issued by Parthasarathi Sen Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Basic and Secondary Education Department, it has been said that transfer can be done in case the teacher herself or her unmarried son or daughter is disabled, is suffering from cancer or is on dialysis.

Similarly, if both the husband/wife are teachers in Basic Education Council schools and an application is made by either of them, then only one of them can be transferred to the district where the teacher-student ratio is less. However, in case of adverse circumstances, transfer can be done with the approval of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
