‘Told me that an event has to be organized…’, Cockroach Party played with Manoj Jha?
The press conference organized by Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) was held at the Constitution Club of India. After his press conference, questions started being raised as to how he got permission for this event at the Constitution Club of India and who recommended him. It has now been revealed that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha had given recommendation for this event, but after this Manoj Jha has now made a big revelation.
Manoj Jha says that he had given the recommendation but he was not aware that CJP was holding this press conference to organize a protest on June 6. He clarified that he is not associated with CJP’s campaign. Along with this he also said that the ideology of CJP is not clear.

Why recommend?
Manoj Jha said that he was only told that he wanted to hold a press conference and apart from this he was not told anything. Speaking to the media, Manoj Jha said, ‘If you read the content of my letter, it is related to a journalist with whom I was connected on social media. Along with this, also from some of my senior colleagues from Delhi University.
Talking about the reasons for making the recommendation, he said, ‘I was told that they needed to hold a press conference. I usually do this kind of work for some civil society organization every two-three days. All I was told was that they need to organize an event and it is clearly written in the letter.
Does Manoj Jha support CJP?
Manoj Jha said that I see that the media is making allegations without verifying the facts and without looking at the genuineness of my letter. He said, ‘If you look at my past records with respect to the Constitution Club of India, I have consistently supported many civil society organizations. As far as I am concerned, this matter should now be considered closed. I had said the same thing in 2012 or 2013, during that movement. I don’t comment on this. There is a lack of clarity of ideology in this type of movement.
On the matter of support to CJP, he said that CJP did not ask for his support. Along with this he said that if anyone contacts him in future and demands Constitution Club of India, then I will investigate its purpose. On Manoj Jha, CJP spokesperson has also said that he has no role in the party.
Appeal for demonstration on 6th May
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke is coming to Delhi on 6th May and on the same day he has given a call for protest. Spokespeople have said that they will seek permission for the demonstration on the same day. This online campaign, which started after a comment by the CJI, is now ready to take action on the ground. However, most people still want to know about the ideology of this party and the party is demanding the resignation of the Education Minister.
