The family had no connection with films.
Gaurav told that his family had no connection with the film industry. Since childhood, he was interested in art and acting, but studies were given more importance in the family. During his school days, he got good marks in art, which made him realize that he was interested in doing something different.

When only Rs 84 were left in the account
Recalling the days of struggle in Mumbai, Gaurav said that there was a time when only Rs 84 was left in his bank account. He said that the economic conditions were so difficult that every expenditure had to be done thoughtfully. During that period, his father also helped as per his capacity.

Changed path for career
Gaurav initially studied fashion designing, but soon he realized that his heart was in the world of acting. After this he started struggling to make his mark in the entertainment world.

Success did not change perspective
On the popularity he got after the success of ‘Dhurandhar’, Gaurav said that now he looks at success from a different perspective. According to him, after seeing many ups and downs in his career, he has learned that both success and failure are temporary. He said that today people are praising his work, but he likes to keep himself grounded and sees every new project as a new beginning.
