action against him for refusal
Vinod Bansal said that the recent allegations are a matter of concern not only for the IT sector but for the entire society. According to him, if an employee is pressurized to change his religious beliefs and action is taken against him if he refuses, then it is a very serious matter. He said that such allegations should be thoroughly investigated by independent agencies so that the truth can come out.
Appeal to the society to remain alert
Vinod Bansal also appealed to the society to remain alert. He said that the youth should be aware of any kind of pressure, temptation or suspicious activities and should inform the concerned authorities about any such incident. Serious questions on religious sensitivity
He said that Hindu society will have to understand that a Jihadi is a Jihadi and will also have to publicly boycott him. Any kind of interaction with them can be dangerous for you, this has become clear in many incidents. It is part of a larger conspiracy, whether it is educated, poor, rich or highly qualified. Fundamentalist thinking dominates the minds of these people.
It is very important to sanitize such fundamentalist thinking. These incidents raise serious questions about human resource policies, management response and religious sensitivities in India’s IT industry. The investigation in both the cases is ongoing and a fair investigation and due process is being demanded.
