India-LAC Trade and Investment Forum today, CM Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the meeting, representatives of 15 countries will attend

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the India Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Trade and Investment Forum-2026 on Saturday 6 June 2026 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The forum will include ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, industry representatives and investors from 15 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

This event is being organized by Global India Business Forum in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). The objective of the program is to strengthen trade and investment relations between India and LAC countries and to foster new opportunities for cooperation. The forum will strengthen the possibilities of cooperation and investment in pharmaceuticals, automobile, textile, food processing, IT, tourism and other key sectors. This will give Madhya Pradesh a stronger identity on the global investment map.

The event will feature a special address by the Chief of GRULAC and launch of a special platform to promote India-LAC trade and investment cooperation. Diplomatic representatives of different countries will also share information about investment and business possibilities available in their respective countries.

Key points of the program

• Trade and investment opportunities, possibilities of cooperation in manufacturing sector and service sector will be discussed in various sessions organized in the forum.
• In the session related to manufacturing sector, pharmaceuticals, automobile, textile and food processing sectors will be discussed.
• In the service sector session, possibilities of cooperation in areas like information technology, tourism, fintech and education will be highlighted.
• The event will also see B2B and B2G meetings between investors, industry representatives and representatives from different countries.
• Through the forum, the investment-friendly environment available in the state, developed industrial infrastructure and potential in various sectors will be presented to global investors.
