Delhi: Big demonstration of CJP at Jantar Mantar, supporters gathered in support of Abhijeet Deepke.

New Delhi: The stir intensified at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Saturday when Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) supporters started gathering in large numbers for protest. Party founder Abhijeet Deepke also reached India from abroad to participate in this demonstration. In view of his arrival and proposed demonstration, security arrangements were already tightened in the capital. Since morning, the movement of supporters started increasing in Jantar Mantar and its surrounding areas, due to which activities intensified in the entire area.

Delhi Police has given permission to organize the demonstration within the stipulated time. Efforts are being made by the administration to ensure that the program is conducted in a peaceful manner and the common people do not have to face any kind of problem.

Enthusiasm seen among supporters before the demonstration

According to the information, Abhijeet Deepke had appealed to his supporters and students a few days ago to reach Delhi and participate in the protest. He had also requested his followers to come to the airport to welcome him. After his arrival in Delhi on Saturday morning, enthusiasm was seen among his supporters. After completing the formal procedures they left for further activities. Meanwhile, people associated with the party continued reaching Jantar Mantar.

Tight security arrangements around Jantar Mantar

In view of the demonstration, Delhi Police and other security agencies have made extensive preparations. Barricading has been done at several levels around Jantar Mantar to control the crowd and avoid any untoward situation. A large number of policemen and paramilitary forces have been deployed as part of security arrangements. The aim of the authorities is to limit the demonstration to the designated area and avoid affecting the traffic system.

Increased surveillance in New Delhi area

Taking extra vigilance, the administration has implemented several security measures in the New Delhi area. The presence of police force has been increased at sensitive places and surveillance is being maintained on various routes. Modern technologies are also being used to monitor crowd activities.
