  • First of all, wash the oranges thoroughly with clean water and cut them into pieces. Now cut the orange into pieces and remove all the seeds and fibers from them. This will give bitter taste to the barfi. Now keep the orange pulp and orange juice separate.
  • Now heat the pan on gas and add mawa in it. Fry the mawa on low flame until it becomes golden and aromatic. Now keep the mawa in a separate vessel.
  • Now add orange juice and sugar in the same pan and cook it until a single string syrup is formed.
  • Now to give it a good orange color, take two spoons of milk in a small bowl and add a pinch of orange food color to it and when the syrup is ready, add roasted mawa and coconut shavings in the pan and mix all the mixture well.
  • Now slowly add food color to this entire mixture and mix well. Will add orange essence to it for more flavor.
  • Now grease a plate with ghee and spread the entire mixture in it. Spread the mixture evenly and keep it to cool.
  • Now garnish it with cashew-pistachio and silver varak. When it cools down, cut it into barfi shapes. Your Orange Coconut Barfi is ready.
