Bihar MLC Elections: Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh’s first reaction after getting the ticket, said – I am a true servant of the BJP family.

Political activity is at its peak regarding nine seats of Bihar Legislative Council and one by-election seat. The last date for filing nominations for these important elections has been set as June 11, due to which the stir among political parties has intensified. In this sequence, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its first list of four candidates on Friday, June 05, 2026, which sparked discussion in political circles. The first and prominent name in this list was that of Bhojpuri powerstar Pawan Singh, whose candidature has filled new enthusiasm among the workers.

Right after the announcement of his candidature, Bhojpuri powerstar Pawan Singh reached the state office of Bharatiya Janata Party in the capital Patna today on Saturday. As soon as the news of his arrival was received, a crowd of party workers and supporters gathered outside the office. As soon as Pawan Singh got down from the car, the workers gave him a grand welcome with warmth and cheers. The portico of the party office was packed with Pawan Singh’s fans, where BJP leader Santosh Singh and several other prominent leaders and workers were already waiting for him.

Sanjay Saraogi welcomed Pawan Singh with a hug

As soon as Pawan Singh got down from his car, he greeted the workers with folded hands and went straight towards the room of State President Sanjay Saraogi. This scene was encouraging for the workers, who were seeing their favorite star as a politician. After reaching the state president’s room, Pawan Singh first touched the feet of Sanjay Saraogi and saluted him, which shows his respect and humility. However, Sanjay Saraogi intercepted him and hugged him warmly. During this time, a very pleasant scene was seen in the BJP office for some time. A period of intense talks took place between the two leaders, which gave rise to many possibilities for the political future. All the workers looked very happy after Pawan Singh came to the office and happiness was clearly visible on their faces.

On this occasion, Pawan Singh expressed his sentiments while addressing the media. It is noteworthy that Pawan Singh has been associated with BJP for a long time. However, during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he contested as an independent candidate from Karakat seat. His move had caused political loss to the then NDA ally Upendra Kushwaha, which had soured his relations with the BJP. But, with time, Pawan Singh’s relations with the party became cordial again. It is the result of his continuous activism and loyalty to the party that he has finally got the fruit of his wait. The Legislative Council candidature is an important milestone in his political journey, reflecting his strong ties with the BJP.
