Young batsman Tilak Verma has been named the vice-captain, while 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected in the national team for the first time and has been included in all three squads, a major achievement in his budding cricket career.

Shreyas Iyer was made the captain for all three series/tournaments.

Tilak Verma was named vice-captain for the England T20 series and Asian Games.

Suryakumar Yadav was not selected.

15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi was called in the Indian team for the first time.
