6 people arrested for creating ruckus in CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, read news
The protest organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ended ahead of schedule. During the demonstration, Delhi Police arrested six people who were trying to create ruckus. This development came to light when party founder Abhijit Dipke released a video and gave his response to the movement. Dipke said in his social media post that “cockroaches will never come to the ground.” The video also showed a huge crowd of people present at the protest site, which shows the support the movement is receiving. Widespread discussion about this demonstration was also seen on social media platforms.
Actually, this demonstration of CJP was organized to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The organization alleges that the NEET paper leak issue and alleged irregularities in CBSE Class 12 results have affected the future of students. The protest was led by Abhijit Dipke, while renowned social activist Sonam Wangchuk also joined the movement. His presence brought more discussion and support to the demonstration.
The government was warned before the demonstration started
Abhijeet Dipke had reached New Delhi from America on Saturday morning. Before the protest started, they had warned the government that if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan did not resign by 5 pm, a big movement would be started across the country. This new organization called CJP was formed last month. The organization was started after the “cockroach” related statement made by the Chief Justice of India on the Internet. After this, a large number of youth started joining this organization through social media. The party says that it is raising issues related to the education system, which directly affect the future of the youth.
Demonstration was held regarding these demands
In its demands, CJP has also demanded the resignation of the Education Minister as well as improvement in the education system and implementation of proper training system before digitalization. The organization says that the changes being implemented without preparation are causing problems for both students and teachers. 18-year-old Raunak, who participated in the protest, said that it is not yet clear what the future of the organization will be, but it is important to raise voice on important issues related to the youth.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police took strict action regarding security arrangements at Jantar Mantar. According to officials, six people were detained to prevent a possible clash between the two groups during the demonstration. These people are accused of disturbing peace and attempting to create ruckus. To maintain law and order, more than a thousand security personnel were deployed in Delhi and surrounding sensitive areas, so that any untoward incident could be prevented and the situation remained completely under control.
