Actress Richa Chadha supported the students’ protest by sharing a post on social media. She said that although she is currently in Auckland, New Zealand, her heart is with the youth of Delhi. She sent her love and best wishes to the youth saying that Delhi is the city associated with her childhood, school and college life. She appealed to the youth to stand up for the country in real sense and not just show patriotism, but also present their position with calmness, sensitivity and understanding.

Actor Atul Kulkarni also wrote an emotional post supporting the movement. He noted that he is hopeful to see the youth of the country raising their voices and standing up for their rights. He apologized to the youth admitting that many mistakes have been made by his generation as well as some previous generations and the consequences are being faced by today’s youth.
