Heat wave will increase again in UP from today, chances of heat wave in Lucknow next week

Lucknow: After the fluctuations in the weather in Uttar Pradesh for the last few days, the heat wave is going to increase once again. According to the report of Amar Ujala, the temperature in most of the districts of the state may increase by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the coming five days. Due to dry weather, people may have to face strong sunlight and hot winds.

The temperature will start increasing gradually across the state from Sunday i.e. today. There is a possibility of heat wave in many areas between June 9 and 11. On Saturday, strong sunshine and hot winds were seen in Bundelkhand and southern districts, while in some parts of Purvanchal and Terai, winds were accompanied by cloud movement.

Jhansi was the hottest city

On Saturday, Jhansi was recorded as the hottest city in the state, where the temperature reached 42.5 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, temperature was recorded at 42.2 degree Celsius in Banda, 41.4 degree Celsius in Orai and Fatehpur and 41.2 degree Celsius in Varanasi. Humidity and heat troubled people even in the capital Lucknow.

According to the report, the weather will remain dry in the coming days and the effect of heat will increase continuously. Heat waves can be felt in many districts including Lucknow around June 10. The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid exposure to sunlight during afternoon hours and drink enough water.
