Why did the price of Xiaomi Pad 8 increase?
Recent months have seen a steady rise in prices for DRAM and NAND storage chips. Due to the increasing demand of AI technology and data center industry, a large share of memory chip production is being sent to the server and data center sector. This has affected the availability of chips for consumer electronics and increased costs.

Although Xiaomi has not given any official reason behind the price increase, industry experts believe that rising component costs are the main reason. Recently, companies like OnePlus, Poco and Lava have also increased the prices of many of their devices.
