‘Nobody told me…’ Yusuf Pathan angry at the news of Mamata Banerjee’s Delhi entry and resignation

There is a tremendous upheaval in the politics of West Bengal at this time. After losing power in the assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again become a topic of discussion in political circles. At present, a very shocking claim is being made on social media and in the media circles. It is being said that after losing the election from Bhawanipur seat, Mamata Banerjee now wants to enter Delhi politics and reach the country’s Parliament.

There is even talk that in order to send Didi to Delhi, pressure was put on TMC MP from Berhampur and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan to resign through former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. However, now a big statement of both Sourav Ganguly and Yusuf Pathan has come out on this entire high-profile controversy, which has surprised everyone.

What is the whole matter and that sensational claim of the newspaper?

Let us explain to you from where this whole controversy started. Actually, the root of this political uproar is the news published in a local newspaper of Bengal. It was claimed in that news that Mamata Banerjee now wants to enter the country’s Parliament, so that she can increase her activism in central politics. For this, he chose Berhampur Lok Sabha seat, from where former all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is currently the Trinamool Congress MP.

According to the newspaper’s claim, Mamata Banerjee herself had contacted former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly for this. He had asked Ganguly to convince Yusuf Pathan to give up his seat, so that Mamata Banerjee herself could stand in the by-election to be held there and win and reach Parliament. It was also written in the newspaper that Yusuf Pathan had directly rejected this proposal of ‘Dada’ i.e. Sourav Ganguly, after which the political atmosphere from Bengal to Delhi heated up.

Sourav Ganguly broke his silence, made his stand clear

As soon as the uproar over this news increased, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly took charge. He has issued a written statement and made his position completely clear on this entire matter. Ganguly said, “Mamata Banerjee never asked me to convey any such message to Yusuf Pathan. This news is completely baseless and false. I have nothing to do with political matters at any level, nor have I talked to Yusuf Pathan in this regard.”

No one asked me to resign: Yusuf Pathan angry after releasing video

Soon after Sourav Ganguly, TMC MP Yusuf Pathan himself also came forward and issued a video message dismissing these rumors outright. Yusuf said in a very emotional and stern tone, “Mamata Banerjee or any other party leader has never talked to me about resignation. No such discussion ever took place in our previous meetings either. Such fake news is being spread on social media without any truth and investigation, which has hurt me a lot.”

Is the internal situation of TMC not good?

Even though Sourav Ganguly and Yusuf Pathan have put an end to these resignation reports by giving clarification, political pundits believe that everything is not going well within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) after being out of power in Bengal.

According to inside sources and news, many MLAs and MPs of the party are currently adopting a rebellious stance. The discussion in the political circles is so intense that many TMC MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are fully prepared to change sides and are in touch with big leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). If there is even a little truth in these discussions, then a huge upheaval may be seen in the politics of West Bengal in the coming days.
