These include the American AI Action Plan, Partnership Program to Advance America’s AI Capability, and National AI Policy Framework.

Who is Sriram Krishnan?

Sriram Krishnan was born in India and is a resident of Chennai. He studied from SRM Engineering College, Chennai. After this he worked in many big tech companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and Snap. He later joined the famous investment firm Andreessen Horowitz and established himself as a technology investor.

He has also been a close advisor to Elon Musk and was part of the team advising Musk during the purchase of Twitter. On January 20, 2025, with the start of Trump’s second term, Sriram Krishnan began working as an AI policy advisor at the White House. Earlier, in 2024, he was appointed Senior White House Policy Advisor on AI.
