Another big hit of inflation on the pockets of common people, domestic LPG cylinder becomes costlier by ₹ 29

Amidst the ever increasing inflation in the country, the kitchen budget of the common man has once again gone completely haywire. Directly hitting the pockets of the general public, there has once again been a huge increase in the prices of domestic LPG Gas Cylinder. After this new price hike, managing the household budget is going to become even more challenging for housewives. These sudden increases in prices by oil marketing companies have given a big shock to the common consumers.

Domestic LPG cylinder now costs Rs 942 in Delhi

If we talk about the country’s capital Delhi, then the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have been directly increased by ₹ 29. After this latest increase, now the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 942. Earlier, consumers had to pay less for this, but now they will have to spend additional ₹ 29 on each cylinder. Along with Delhi, its direct impact will also be seen on the consumers of NCR areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad.

Direct impact on the budget of the common man

In this era of ever increasing inflation, the cost of LPG has become a big problem for middle and lower class families. Now even cooking two meals a day has become more expensive for the public, already troubled by the skyrocketing prices of vegetables, pulses and other food items. Many consumers say that getting such a shock at the beginning of the month spoils their entire monthly budget. People are also expressing their displeasure regarding this increase on social media.

Prices changed in other states and cities also

According to the rules, the effect of change in domestic LPG cylinder prices is not limited to Delhi only. The new prices of LPG may vary in different states and cities of the country due to local taxes and transportation costs imposed at the state level. A similar proportionate change has been seen in the prices of gas cylinders in major metros like Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, due to which people are going to have loose pockets at the nationwide level.
