India’s stature has increased in the world under Modi government, India is safer and self-reliant than before: Defense Minister

Read, Lucknow : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that India’s stature in the world has increased since the coming of Modi government. India is now more secure and self-reliant than ever before. The earlier situation and perception about India at the international level has also changed. Talking about the Defense Ministry, earlier ammunition, gunpowder, tangs and other items had to be imported from other countries, but today more than 75 percent of the defense items are being made in India.

The Defense Minister stressed that today people have started believing that India has changed under the leadership of PM Modi. This change has clearly occurred. This is the first time in world history that 25 crore people were brought out of the poverty line in a span of 8-9 years. And this has happened in Modi government.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said these things while talking to journalists in his parliamentary constituency, Lucknow, the capital of UP.

He said that the trust that the public has on us is the result that today we have a government from Gangotri to Gangasar and from the Himalayas to the Arabian Sea. If the work had not been done properly, governments would not have been formed in the new areas.
