Now the company is preparing to bring its two powerful SUVs in the Indian market. These include a premium three-row 7 seater SUV and the Tecton. The company can launch a 7 seater SUV next year. Nissan’s 7 seater SUV

In India, Nissan Tecton’s 7 seater flagship SUV will compete with SUVs like Mahindra XUV 7XO, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar. It is expected that this SUV will be available in the Indian market with 1.3 liter turbo petrol and 1.8 liter hybrid engine options. However, due to its larger size and higher weight, there may be a slight difference in performance. The overall design and styling of the new Nissan 7-seater SUV is likely to be similar to the Tecton. However, it will be longer and bigger. It will also have an additional third row of seats. Talking about the price, the 7-seater Tecton is expected to be priced higher than the 5-seater model.

Nissan is going to launch its Tecton in India on 9th July. This will be a rebased version of the new Renault Duster. Its exterior look will be inspired by Nissan Patrol. At the same time, the features found in its interior are expected to remain the same as in Duster. Tecton will be launched with the option of 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine. The larger engine will have manual and DCT gearbox options, while the smaller engine will have only a manual gearbox available.

The company can launch Tecton Hybrid in the festive season this year. This will be a strong hybrid product of the company. In this, the company will provide a 1.8 liter petrol engine with electric motor. The company says that with the help of this technology, the SUV will offer up to 80 percent drive in EV mode in the city. It can be launched after the entry of Duster Hybrid.

Nissan Patrol may arrive next year

This big SUV from Nissan can enter the market in the middle of the year 2027. The petrol is available in the international market with a 3.8 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine and a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. Nothing can be said with certainty yet about which variant will come to India. It will be Nissan’s flagship model and will compete with cars like Toyota’s LC300.
