The final match witnessed a close contest, which held the breath of thousands of spectators present on the field. A huge crowd from nearby villages had also gathered to watch this exciting match.
Sarkada Premier League In this final contest, former Thakurdwara MLA candidate and former block chief Mujahid Ali had arrived as the chief guest. Former District Panchayat member candidate of Ward No. 6, Chavez Ali was also present with him. Both the leaders patted the backs of the players of the winning and runner-up teams and encouraged them by handing over trophies with huge prize money.

Actually, the final match of this tournament organized in Sarkada Karim village was played between ‘Sarkda Royal Challengers’ and ‘Sarkda Knight Riders’. Batting first, the Knight Riders team had set a challenging target for the opposition team. In reply, Sarkada Royal Challengers had a bumpy start, but thanks to the intelligent play of the batsmen, the team won the match with 3 wickets in hand. As soon as the winning shot was taken, the entire field erupted with thunderous applause.

The most special thing about this tournament was its huge prize money. According to local people, such a huge amount of money is rarely seen in matches held at the rural level. The winning team was given a winner trophy along with a check of Rs 2,51,000 (two lakh fifty one thousand) and cash amount of Rs 51,000 by the chief guests. The runner-up team was also rewarded for their excellent performance.

Addressing the players, former block chief Mujahid Ali said that sports is not just a medium of winning and losing, but it inspires the youth to have discipline, unity and struggle in life. He said that there are such sports talents hidden in rural areas, who if given the right platform, can bring glory to the district and the state. Chavez Ali congratulated the entire organizing committee and the people of the area for the successful event.
After this successful event, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the sports lovers of the area. Organizers say that this grand competition was organized with the aim of keeping the youth away from drugs and social media addiction and bringing them to the playground, which was completely successful.
