Successful organization of ‘Sunday on Cycle’ program in Hamirpur
Special program on Bicycle Day
Hamirpur: On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, Hamirpur center of Sports Authority of India (SAI) organized ‘Sunday on Cycle’ program. International yoga player Yashovardhan Attri participated in this program and conducted the yoga session.
Yashovardhan Attri, while addressing the participants, said that cycling is not only beneficial for health, but it also contributes to the protection of the environment. He practiced micro yoga and demonstrated yoga asanas. He appealed to the youth to include cycling regularly and fitness in their daily routine.
SAI’s Hamirpur center center in-charge Prem Thakur, international badminton coach Jani Chaudhary, judo coach Sanjeev Thakur, athletics coach Manju, badminton coach Neha Sood, hockey coach Picky Chauhan, NDRF personnel, members of Hamirpur Cycle Organization and national and international level players of various sports participated in this program.
The participants pledged to spread the message of fitness and environment protection through cycle rally and yoga session. During the program everyone was called upon to contribute in building a healthy society by adopting regular exercise, yoga and cycling.
