Saif, who has a career spanning more than three decades, believes that in today’s era, it has become more difficult for new artists to prove themselves than before. For this reason, he is also worried about the career of his children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

In an interview, Saif recalled his initial struggles and said that during his time, artists used to get a chance to handle themselves and stand up again. Even if an actor’s film flopped, the industry and the audience did not close the doors to him. He told that even during the difficult times of his career, he continued to get work, due to which he was successful in making a comeback.

Saif said that at that time people had patience and artists got the opportunity to learn and become better. Giving an example, he said that even after some unsuccessful films, he got a chance to work with big banners and reputed directors, which gave a new direction to his career.

However, Saif has a different view on today’s situation. He believes that the pressure on artists has increased significantly in the social media and digital era. Now even a small mistake or poor performance immediately becomes a topic of discussion and people’s reactions are extremely quick.

Saif says that he has also advised Sara and Ibrahim that they will have to move ahead in the industry with more hard work and preparation than before. According to him, in today’s world the expectations of the audience have increased and there is very little scope left for mistakes.
