Public welfare camps will be organized in Madhya Pradesh from 12th to 18th June, benefits of schemes will be available, problems will be solved, these instructions issued

In Madhya Pradesh, from 12 to 18 June 2026, 3-day ‘Public Welfare Camps’ will be organized at every development block and urban body headquarters of the district. In this regard, instructions have been issued by the General Administration Department to all Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, Chief Executive Officers, District Panchayats, Commissioners, Municipal Corporations and Chief Municipal Officers of urban bodies.

Nodal officers have been appointed at the state level to obtain necessary information and resolve problems for effective implementation of the campaign. It has been said in the instructions that the roster of the camps should be prepared in such a way that as far as possible the Collector/Additional Collector/Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, along with the District Officers of all the departments of the district, should be present in each camp.

The objective of these camps is to benefit the eligible persons deprived of the public welfare schemes of the state government and to ensure quick resolution of the problems of the common people. The action related to registering and resolving the applications received in the schemes identified during the campaign will be done through the CM Helpline Portal. A separate module is being prepared in the portal to provide login facility to the officers.

What will be the benefit from public welfare camp?

Eligible but deprived beneficiaries of major beneficiary oriented schemes (saturation and target based) of the Central and State Government run in the district will be identified with the help of departmental field staff. Also, the process of registration, approval and benefit distribution will be done on priority. Along with beneficiary-oriented schemes of various departments, applications of beneficiaries for Individual Household Toilets (IHHL) under Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) will also be received and their registration and disposal will be ensured.

These instructions were issued to the officers

  • Departmental schemes, services, complaints and pending cases can be examined and resolved on the spot.
  • Make sure to register the entire action plan of the campaign like dates of camps, appointment of nodal officers on the CM Helpline portal.
  • A special campaign should be run during the camp period to resolve the pending cases under CM Helpline, Public Service Guarantee Act, revenue matters and other public complaints.
  • Efforts should be made to resolve all pending applications as much as possible.
  • Departmental stalls should be set up in the camps to provide information about the services and schemes provided by various departments.
  • The facility of application, registration and service delivery should be made available to the eligible beneficiaries at one place.
  • Exhibition of development and progress of Government of India and State Government should be organized in the camps.
  • Benefit distribution, beneficiary dialogue, presentation of success stories and public awareness activities regarding the schemes should also be organized in the camps.
  • For those applications received in the camp which cannot be resolved immediately, a time limit should be set and the applicant should be informed and the cases should be monitored regularly.
  • District Collector will be responsible for organizing camps, departmental coordination, timely disposal of applications received and distribution of benefits to eligible beneficiaries.
  • The camps should be widely publicized through various communication mediums, so that maximum citizens can benefit.
  • For organizing the camp, approval of the Minister in-charge of the district should be obtained and participation of local public representatives should also be ensured.
