Immediately after the resignation, about 14 rebel TMC Lok Sabha MPs held a meeting with Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari in Delhi. Now news is coming that the rebel MP of Trinamool Congress has now placed a new demand before Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. A group of TMC MPs has written a letter to the Speaker demanding to give the status of a separate parliamentary party (block) to their party. Along with this, a demand has also been made to allot different seats accordingly. Bagu faction has also expressed its desire to join NDA.
