Actually, Rahmat Shah has become the first batsman for Afghanistan to score a half-century against India in Test cricket. Rahmat played a brilliant inning of 60 runs in 135 balls. During his innings, he hit 9 fours and a brilliant six.

With this, he has also become the Afghan batsman who has played the biggest innings against India in Tests. Earlier, the highest individual score against India was Afghan batsman Hashmatullah Shahidi, who scored 36 runs in the second innings of the 2018 Test match.

Rahmat Shah completed 1000 test runs

With this half-century innings, Rahmat Shah made another big achievement in his name. He has completed 1000 runs in Test cricket and has become the first batsman for Afghanistan to do so. Rahmat achieved this milestone in his 12th test match. In this matter, Hashmatullah Shahidi is in second place, who has scored 791 runs so far.

It is noteworthy that this is only the second test match between India and Afghanistan. The first Test between the two teams was played in the year 2018, which was also the first match in the test cricket history of Afghanistan. Since then, Afghanistan has played a total of 12 test matches, in which it has won only three.
