There were only five days left for the engagement rituals, when suddenly the girl’s mother went missing from home. The family did not understand anything in the beginning, but soon the reality that came to light knocked everyone from under their feet. The woman had eloped with her lover and got married secretly.

WhatsApp status exposed

The entire marriage was initially kept a complete secret, but matters took a turn for the worse when the woman’s boyfriend posted their wedding photos on his mobile’s WhatsApp status. As soon as this status was seen by the woman’s relatives and acquaintances, this news spread like wildfire. The house which should have been filled with happiness, suddenly became silent and the family suffered severe mental trauma.

The helpless husband reached the police.

Troubled by the defamation in the society due to this action of his wife and the pictures made public on social media, the victim husband went straight to Jamner police station. While pleading in front of the police, he said, Sir, only five days are left for the daughter’s engagement and we are being insulted in the society, please ask them to remove that status immediately. Hearing this heart-wrenching agony of the husband, the police understood the seriousness of the matter and immediately called the woman’s lover to the police station. The police reprimanded her citing legal and social status, after which the lover removed the status.
